2012 Navasota Rattlers named Top 100 team of all-time by UIL

October 28, 2020 by Willy1550

The 2012 Navasota Rattlers football team has been nominated as one of the Top 100 teams in the history of UIL Texas football.

And now, Navasota ISD needs your help in voting them as a top 10 team of all time in the history of the state.

According to a Facebook post from the district, they are asking everyone to rally up students, parents, and community members, to vote for the 2012 Rattlers.

The fan vote will determine the top 10 teams of all time in Texas.

Ten honorees are announced each week by UIL, with one voted on to advance to the top 10. Voting for Navasota will end Sunday, November 1st at Noon, and you can vote as many time until then!

Each of the Top 100 nominated teams, which includes the 2012 Rattlers, will be recognized by the UIL and Dave Campbell’s Texas Football in a commemorative magazine. The Top 10 teams of all time, following the fan vote, will be recognized with a special ceremony at the State Championship in Arlington.

You can find a link to the poll on the Navasota ISD Facebook page, and linked here.
