One recent Grimes County transplant says he loves his new home, but is afraid it’s too divided. So self-described concerned citizen Perry Ealim, and a number of other concerned residents have come up with something new they hope will make it more cohesive and inclusive.
It’s called “Christmas with Us.” To be held in the county seat in Anderson but is still in its planning stage.
Ealim tells Navasota News he hopes, “everybody interested in the planning and execution of ‘Christmas with Us’ will attend the next meeting .”
“We can come together as a community,” Ealim continues, “and it’s time to say what can I do to make a change.”
The next “Christmas with Us” meeting is Thursday evening (October 25th) at 6:30 in the Courthouse Junction Texas restaurant (Formerly known as the Owl’s Nest), at 1033 hwy 90 in Anderson.
