If you have a need to volunteer or have an organization that needs them, Brazos Valley Unitedway has just launched their latest endeavor online to make volunteerism easier for all.
Volunteer Center’s Aaron Kitchen tells Navasota News it is trying to get everybody on one database. This way, anyone or any organization can create a profile and then search for organizations or volunteers by what they want to do or by name. And just like many social media outlets, this one is free.
Unitedway’s Alison Prince says, its purpose here is to connect people with community needs. “We always have a great pool of volunteers,” says Prince “but I think in general our residents are committed to improving our community and want to be involved.”
So if you looking to have more than just a digital footprint in this world, you can go to volunteerbrazosvalley.org and set up an account. For more information you can call 979-696-4483.
