The Brazos Valley Arts Council is taking applications for new artists in residence at Navasota’s historic Horlock House, and its just in time as two current residents are already moving on to their next phases of discovery.
The council’s Molly Wallace tells Navasota News this is what the residency is all about; giving artists a chance to explore their crafts, then, move on to their next destination.
So in the meantime if you, or any artist you know is interested, Wallace says they are looking for the next artists for this spring.
As for our current creative neighbors, Wallace says the only one left after this weekend will be Lisa Urban, adding that you can still see what they have to offer thru this Sunday.
You can find out more on navasotaair.wordpress.com. Applications need to be turned in by this weekend, January 16. For more go to acbv.org.
