If you are worried about your current work or would like to have a job to worry about, Workforce Solutions and the Workforce Investment Act is here to help.
The Organization’s Vonda Morrison tells Navasota News that as long as you’re working towards a particular job, the program will pay for your associates degree, books, fees … everything.
And it’s not just for adults, Morrison explains, it can assist your kids in getting job experience in and around local offices during their summer breaks and be paid for their time and effort.
But if you’re just looking for a resource to help you find work, the state funded program also has employment counseling, computers, phones and fax machines to help put out your resume.
For more on the organization or how to start working on your degree visit the Grimes County office at 1604 Stacey St. Navasota, or call 936-870-3614
