Two 23-year-old cousins reportedly from Navasota are among four Bryan College Station residents recently arrested by College Station PD and charged with burglarizing more than three dozen vehicles from Grimes to Austin.
CSPD’s Lieutenant Steve Brock tells Navasota News, Kenneth and Shawn Greer were implicated in the spree after police charged 20-year-old Tyler Sanchez with possession of a controlled substance and evading arrest or detention.
Brock reports all four are charged with taking stolen items, selling them to pawn shops across the Brazos Valley and then splitting the profits among them.
Which he adds, qualifies the quartet for the additional charge of engaging in organized criminal activity.
Brock asks that if you have any information pertaining to, or believe you’ve been a victim of these burglaries, call 979-764-3600.
Currently both the Greers and Sanchez are being held in the Brazos County Jail. The unidentified minor has also been charged but is not in custody at this time.
If convicted, the Greers and the minor female could each face up to two years in prison. Sanchez is additionally charged with two third degree felonies that could land him up to another decade behind bars and another ten thousand dollars in fines.
