Whatever you call your primary relationship, and whomever it’s with, the Texas Agrilife Extension invites you both to an intensive two-day retreat at the end of this month, to strengthen it, where there’ll be two Friday sessions and about four more on Saturday.
Project Manager Laurie Naumann says the Synergy Relationship Retreat be held at Rivergate Church in Bryan with Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast and lunch provided, free childcare, and lots of door prizes that’ll be given away.
It’ll use a program called “Prep,” Naumann tells Navasota News, originally developed for military families, to be fun and engaging, but most importantly, to provide everyone with a safe space designed to keep couples together.
And because it’s grant-funded through the Department of Health and Human Services, she says, it’s all free. At least, she adds, to the first 60 couples who sign-up. To do that, go to families.tamu.edu, or give Naumann a call at 979-862-1915.
