Navasota High School’s 3rd annual Senior Decision Day’s coming up this spring, and the school’s career counselor needs you to get involved.
Over the past three years, Michelle Vacante says more and more of the Navasota High School graduating class has become part of that enviable category. This year, she adds, it’s every last one of them that’ll be walking the red carpet. We’ll announce their school or what branch of the Service they’ll be joining or what their field of study will be. They we’ll have a wide array of raffle and door prizes that are geared to help an 18-year-old get out on their own..
Which, Vacante tells Navasota News, is where you come in.
Last year, she says, the senior parents were just incredible. They helped with the set-up and donated all sort of gift cards and gas cards. And I hope that this year the parents come out in even greater force.
And not just parents, Vacante adds. Anyone who’d like to give a head-start to Navasota’s increasing number of higher education or military-bound students is certainly welcome.
If you think that might be you, Vacante says contact her on Facebook through the Navasota High School Counselor’s page, or call her at 936-825-4247.
