There is a new, highly anticipated face in Navasota. Baylor Scott and White opened their primary care clinic in the city Monday morning, becoming their system’s first healthcare system in Grimes County.
The clinic comes after extensive research on the area. The clinic, which measures a whopping 5,000 square feet, includes 9 exam rooms and a treatment room. Through their network of clinics and hospitals, they provide greater care coordination through a single electronic medial record that allows medical teams to collaborate. The integrated approach helps improve the patient experience and prevent unnecessary medical tests, aiming to reduce the time a patient spends at the hospital.
The clinic will be open 8 am to 5 pm from Monday through Friday. The clinic joins more than 10 Baylor Scott and White clinics in Brazos, Washington, Austin counties in providing healthcare to Central Texans.
