Thanks to a grant from the 2015 floods in the county, County Road 201 and 202 will finally see their bridges replaced. At the December 26th meeting of Commissioner’s Court, county road and bridge engineer Harry Walker proposed a contract with Goodwin-Lasiter Inc.
The terms of the grant will give the county two years to construct the bridges. In total, the contract was awarded in the amount of $60,755.
The Commissioner’s unanimously approved the contract with Goodwin-Lasiter. There is no set timetable for construction of the new bridges on County Road 201 and 202.
