A man was arrested on Highway 6 on Tuesday with three barrels of liquid methamphetamine.
College Station police say that an officer was driving on the highway in South College Station saw the driver riding in a truck pulling a trailer. Upon running the information, the officer discovered the registration for the trailer expired three and a half years ago.
The officer pulled them over and after the driver looked overly nervous, the officer asked if he could search the vehicle. Authorities used K-9 units to check the truck and trailer and found three 55 gallon drums in the trailer, all filled with liquid methamphetamine.
Authorities say texts on the drivers phone showed the meth belonged to him. He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. He remains in the Brazos County Jail on 40 thousand dollars bond.
