Two bodies found in Montgomery County has resulted in a man being accused of killing his grandmother and great-grandmother last week.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, a 22 year old man is in custody after he strangled the two women and lived at home with their bodies for at least 20 days in North Harris County.
They say that 22 year old Jaryd Ramos confessed to killing his grandmother and great-grandmother because “he was tired of them.” Ramos said he killed the women in the early morning hours of November 5th. Authorities said that Ramos was completely unremorseful but cooperative.
The two women killed were identified as 59 year old Barbara Gromley and 90 year old Regina Gromley.
Authorities say they came to the home to followup on a missing person report, which was filed by Ramos one day after he moved one of the bodies.
Ramos said he moved Barbara’s body on November 25th, and it was discovered in a large plastic tote behind a shed last Sunday in South Montgomery County.
While talking to Ramos about the missing persons report last Monday, Ramos granted permission to search his home. They found the body of Regina in the backyard in a trash can.
Ramos will face capital murder charges.
