Five teens have been charged by Madisonville Police in connection with vehicle burglaries in the community.
Officers were called to a neighborhood on Heath Street around 4 am on August 6th, following reports of multiple suspects breaking into vehicles. According to the police, the suspects ran when officers arrived.
During a search, officers would locate all five suspects, and place them into custody.
None of the teenagers were identified, due to them being juveniles, and all five of them hail from Temple.
All were charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. One of the suspects was charged as well with Burglary of a Habitation, when officers found one of the suspects hiding in a daycare nearby.
the suspects were released to relatives, and await their court dates.
