Anderson-Shiro CISD has partnered with Germinator Mobile Sanitation on cleaning services for their schools amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a video released by the district on Monday, Superintendent Scott Beene said their experience thus far has been outstanding.
“We have been really pleased with the customer service, the guidance, the direction, the knowledge, the information they provided us. We asked a lot of questions, we asked for a lot of detailed document items to review, and we were very impressed that anything we asked for, they provided us…the feedback to make us feel comfortable with the product that we were evaluating to choose to use in our district, to help safety measures for our students and staff,” said Beene.
He added that this is a welcome sight for citizen’s and parents who might have been worried about the kids going back into the school buildings.
“We are excited in the direction of this product…the peace of mind that it is going to bring our staff, students, and community…we are pleased to be part of it and move forward. And give peace of mind to our students and staff, and that is a big piece of the puzzle,” Beene said.
Thus far since starting school in August, Anderson-Shiro CISD has reported zero COVID-19 cases among the student population.
