The St. Francis Wolf Sanctuary recently completed their move here to Navasota. As they do every other Saturday every month, they host ‘Howl Nights,” where folks can come out, learn about animals, and take a tour of the facility.
But, Executive Director Nicole Rogers says they have a special event coming up, based off that, for Valentine’s Day.
“We have decided to have ‘Fur-Ever’ Valentine’s, and it is a special event with a Valentine’s Day theme. The tour is going to be amended to tell you the mating habits of wolves, and also tell you some funny anecdotes. Because, many of our wolves are in bonded pairs, and to tell you the process of how we pair them. Because, you cannot just pair them together, it is a very long process,” said Rogers.
She added too that this one is a little different from other “howl nights.”
“This is an adult only howl night. And it is not one you can get on our website. You have to go to Eventbrite, to get tickets, or go to our Facebook page to get tickets, which I think is the easiest way,” rogers said.
That event is on Valentine’s Day, February 14th, and for tickets for that, visit facebook.com/saintfranciswolfsanctuary.
