A North Zulch man, arrested in May for evading arrest, is accused of leading Bryan Police on a separate chase in April.
21 year old Skyler Salyers was apprehended last month by a deputy constable, reaching speeds above 90 miles per hour, before crashing into a ditch. According to the BPD arrest report, Salyers told the deputy constable he had run on the Bryan officer.
That chase, which happened on April 24th and included Salyers running two stop signs, was halted due to BPD’s pursuit policy.
Slayers remains in the Brazos County jail in lieu of new bonds, which total $36,000.
