A Navasota man is heading to prison for five years for violating a bond order.
That happened on Wednesday, when 39 year old Bobby Edward Hurst was sentenced in the 85th Judicial District Court.
Hurst had previous convictions for assault family violence. On February 24th, according to court records, Hurst violated the bond conditions by knowingly and intentionally committing another act of family violence against Kaci Hurst.
The report says Hurst namely struck her with his hand, a cell phone, or another unknown object.
Hurst was sentenced to five years in prison on Wednesday in a plea deal, and therefore, gives up any rights to appeal.
