The 12th Annual Gun Show is returning to Grimes County in 2021, with the support of Friends of Grimes County.
The organization hosts the show every year, and Dianna Westmoreland with Friends of Grimes County talked about what they have going on this year, which includes some new faces.
“Vendors are looking great, we have quite a few new vendors, as well as a collection of our old ones. We have all sorts of guns, a lot tell me they have ammo, knives, holsters and leather goods….a nice balance and collection of different things. There are some lady’s things, and purses, that have gun compartments, that type of thing,” said Westmoreland.
That show happens July 17th and 18th at the Grimes County Expo Center.
She says, as usual, the money made from that event is reinvested in Grimes County.
“We donate money according to whatever our board votes on to local causes, predominantly to children and old folks, as opposed to individuals or groups. We just pick and choose what we think is necessary,” Westmoreland said.
The Friends of Grimes County Gun Show is happening on Saturday and Sunday, July 17th and 18th. For questions or more information, visit the Friends of Grimes County Facebook page.
