Congratulations to the first ever winners of Willy 1550 and 98.7’s Grimes County Athlete of the Month!
Two winners are selected each month, male and female, after nominations were submitted from around the county.
The male winner for September is Colin Ordaz, who plays Cross Country, Tennis and Track for Anderson-Shiro High School.
The female winner for September is Kylie Maxson, who plays volleyball for Navasota.
Each winner receives $100 to go towards their schools scholarship funds.
