After all the twists, turns and mother nature’s worst, the Grimes County Justice Center has officially opened.
“We broke ground on this project on New Year’s Eve two years ago today. After 159 rain delay days, almost 2 years of COVID interruptions, a freeze in February that put us 6 weeks behind in the building production, and supply chain backlog, which still exists today,” said Fauth. “But, we are here, to open this new Justice Center.”
Now, this was just the ribbon cutting, as there are a few last touch ups to do on the interior of the complex.
Fauth said, though, that folks should begin moving into the offices starting on Tuesday.
