The annual Grimes County Relay for Life is coming back once again, after a two year hiatus due to the pandemic!
Dodi Emmons with Grimes County Relay For Life says, though, that things will be slightly different this year.
“We are going to have a smaller relay this year, it will not be a full relay, only four hours. It will be April 8th, from 6:30 pm until 10:30 pm at our beautiful City Hall in downtown Navasota this year,” said Emmons.
If you would like to sign up, you can do so online, with numerous different ways to do it.
“They can register as an individual, caregiver, and as a survivor. They can also register a team, a family team, work team, even an individual can be a team,” said Emmons. “Our theme this year is ‘Wish Upon a Star for a Cure,’ which will be a Disney theme, with Disney aspects there this year. It is just going to be a great time to celebrate, remember, and fight back against cancer.”
Relay for Life in Grimes County is coming back on April the 8th, from 6:30 until 10:30 pm at Navasota City Hall.
