A man with a warrant out of Navasota for running from police was taken to jail on numerous drug charges on Tuesday morning.
That happened around 2 am as Bryan Police officers responded to a burglary, where a woman reported a white man with a neck tattoo came into her apartment. A trash bag and clothing were located outside another unit, and the woman who answered identified the man as her grandson, 32 year old Joshua Lynn Knapp of Bryan.
Officers saw him on the couch, confirmed he had the Navasota PD warrant, plus another for parole violation, and places him under arrest.
Found inside his pockets upon searching was around 15 grams of marijuana, and 6.5 grams of methamphetamine.
Knapp faces additional charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1, and Possession of Marijuana. He remains in the Brazos County jail without bond.
