Calls reporting a man and woman smoking marijuana in a movie theatre parking lot lands a Navasota man in jail on weed charges.
College Station police responded to the Cinemark Movie Theatre on Highway 6 Wednesday night. The car tried pulling away before officers stopped them in the lot.
Officers smelled weed, and when asked if there was any in the car, 22 year old Hiram Zacarias of Navasota responded “not a lot.”
A search of the car yielded a small amount of marijuana, a bong, and two marijuana grinders.
Zacarias was arrested, facing charges of Possession of Marijuana. He was released after posting a $3,000 bond.
