If you want to get into the Christmas spirit with some laughs, drama, and even frights, the City of Navasota is the placer to be this holiday season.
Mayor Bert Miller gave a rundown of what all is ongoing beginning this December.
“December 10th, from Noon until 8 pm is the ‘Nightmare Before Christmas,’ a holiday themed haunted house, put on by the Navasota High School Theater. That is at the old city morgue. Through December 11th, is it ‘The Game’s Afoot: Home for the Holidays’ at The Navasota Theatre Alliance,” said Miller. “They also have some packages at Red Board Tavern, but I do understand those are filling up fast.”
Also as a reminder, the annual Navasota “Home for the Holidays” parade returns this weekend, December 10th, with the annual town tree lighting to follow.
