Navasota man arrested on weed charges for second time since December

March 21, 2023 by Willy1550

A Navasota man is in jail for the second time in three months on more weed charges.

College Station Police stopped the car as it piulled into the Northgate Parking Garage around midnight on Saturday. The officer noted the three occupants were all not wearing seatbelts, and smelled marijuana as he approached the car when it parked.

21 year old driver Sergio Morales of Navasota was seen placing something under his seat, which he said was a Delta 8 THC Vape Pen. He admitted to owning that, plus the loose marijuana in the car, all of which totaled about 8.5 grams.

Morales was taken to jail on a Possession of a Controlled Substance Charge, and Possession of Marijuana charge.

He was arrested for weed possession in December as well.

Morales was released the next day after posting a $9,000 bond.
