At the last regular meeting of the Grimes County Commissioners Court, Investigator for the Grimes County District Attorney’s Office, John Wren, spoke on the consideration to increase the District Attorney’s Professional Services budget, which is dedicated specifically for expenses associated with the prosecution of major cases and trials.
Wren explained how the budgeting process has worked in the past.
The Commissioners’ Court unanimously approved $10,000 for the District Attorney’s Professional Service budget, line 4420, to be taken out of contingency funds.
