15 months ago, Texas A&M announced a 50 million dollar gift from an Aggie and the founder of Buc-ee’s convenience stores for a new building hosting new hospitality programs.
Earlier this month, the Board of Regents deferred action on a pre-development agreement with Arch “Beaver” Aplin. A&M’s Chief External Affairs Officer, Susan Ballabina says this is among the capital projects that are part of the review of the university’s reorganization plan that was implemented last year.
Speaking on WTAW’s The Infomaniacs, Ballabina says the university wants a whole picture of future capital projects, which also includes donor engagement and external engagement. She added that Aplin will be part of the discussion.
