At the last meeting of Navasota’s Planning & Zoning Commission meeting, several amendments regarding “Subdivision regulation, development, requirements for improvements, reservations, and design related to streets and utility location standards to the current City ordinance” were discussed.
One of which included the water meter boxes being moved to “final construction grade.” Development Services Director, Lupe Diosdado explains.
The last of the proposed amendments was requiring concrete streets of new developments. Currently most streets in the City are asphalt, which require frequent maintenance. Diosdado gave details.
These, along with the other proposed amendments to the related ordinance were unanimously approved by the Planning & Zoning Commission.
