The City of Navasota is thrilled to announce a special celebration event on Tuesday, June 18th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the grounds of City Hall in Downtown Navasota to honor three local contestants who recently placed in the top three at “The Sound of Small Town America” competition held in Nashville, Tennessee.
Chase Kimey, Hannah Abraham and Michelle Kay all placed in the top three after performing in the finals at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Kimey took home first in the adult division, Kay came in third and Abraham won first place in the youth division. The evening will feature individual performances by each of the winning contestants, followed by a closing performance from the Rex Robards Band.
The community is invited to join the festivities, enjoy great music, and celebrate the exceptional talents of their fellow residents.
