The Navasota Animal Shelter is owned and operated by the City of Navasota and the Navasota Police Department and, they’re asking for the public’s help.
In a Facebook Post which reads, “Our water heater went out a few days ago, and we’re seeking assistance. If you have an old water heater you’re no longer using or would like to donate your services to help fix it, please reach out to discuss details. Your support would make a huge difference for the animals and the shelter staff.”
The shelter has a budget allocated for essential needs such as veterinary care, food, and other necessities that are crucial for the care and well-being of the animals.
There is also a maintenance budget, but sometimes, with the help of donations or assistance, they’re able to extend the budget to cover other unexpected necessities throughout the year.
Donations, such as food, supplies, equipment, and volunteers are invaluable and crucial for the shelter to operate at its best.
The Navasota Animal Shelter is also a “no-kill” shelter.
