Tax season is upon us and there is a free preparation and e-filing service in the Brazos Valley. Jim Rollins, a volunteer with AARP Foundation Tax Aide, says the service is for everyone, but they do have two target demographics.
Rollins says volunteers are trained and IRS-certified every year to make sure you receive all the tax credits and deductions you’re eligible for.
There are three service sites in the Brazos Valley: The Clara Mounce Library in downtown Bryan, The Ringer Library in College Station, and in Brenham at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
