The local Ag Extension Agency needs your opinion on what it can do for you, and is holding a forum this Thursday April 30th to get it.
The Extension’s Tanner Williams tells Navasota News, there will be four different tables set up at the Navasota Center, each with a specific topic, ranging from agriculture and natural resources to community development.
Each of the tables, Williams adds, will be moderated one of our county’s leaders and experts, like Navasota Mayor Burt Miller and the Grimes St. Joseph Health Center’s Vikki Jackson.
Williams says the Extensions’ Educational Diabetes Program, for example, is here because the community said it was needed. And the meeting will be your chance to let the extension know what else the community is concerned about and more importantly what you need.
You can help answer these questions, and others, at 5:30 this Thursday evening at the Navasota Center. To save yourself a spot at the table call, 936-873-39-07
