An Anderson man was arrested in Bryan on Wednesday after being found with a controlled substance.
Officers were called by the man’s mother to the resident on East Villa Maria around 2 pm Wednesday. The mother said her son, identified as 42 year old Chad Lynn Biddle of Anderson, was at the apartment and refused to leave. She stated he is a paranoid schizophrenic, and that he scares her.
Biddle agreed to leave, but as officers ran his name through dispatch, it was discovered he had a warrant out for Driving with an Invalid License.
A search of Biddle yielded a small baggie with three blue pills, which were found to be Clonazepam, also known as Kolonopin, which is a PG 4 controlled substance used for seizures. Biddle did not have a prescription for the drug.
Biddle was arrested, and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG4 less than 28 grams, and on the warrant. He remains in the Brazos County jail in lieu of a $3,000 bond. It is his 20th time in jail since the year 2000.
