Anderson man who fails to use turn signal arrested on drug charges and parole warrant

An Anderson man is in the Brazos County jail on a warrant for parole violation after failing to use his turn signal.

Bryan Police first spotted the man commit the traffic violation on William Joel Bryan Parkway Wednesday night, and when they got behind the car, it began evading in an aggressive manner. Once the car stopped on a side street, the report says the man began sweating profusely and rapidly breathing.

In plain sight was two butane torches, and a search of the vehicle yielded around 2 grams of meth, and a few glass pipes.

56 year old William Mark Hughes of Anderson was taken to jail on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and remains there with no bond due to the parole warrant.
