A man from Anderson has been announced as the winner of the 2020 Federal Kubota Sidekick Sweepstakes.

According to a press release sent on Tuesday, following three and a half months, and over 33,000 entries nation-wide, Chon Martinez of Anderson drives away with a Federal-branded Kubota Sidekick utility vehicle, with accessories and gear from both Federal and Kubota totaling $23,000.

The contest began on April 14th 2020, and ended July 31st 2020, with people limited to just one entry with no purchase necessary. The drawing took place in August, and Martinez drove away in his new vehicle on October 3rd, after a ceremony at WC Tractor of Navasota.

His prize package also included a Federal-branded merchandise package of a shirt, hat, gun case, campfire rings, and more.

Martinez, a farmer and rancher, says he will use the utility vehicle on his property for transportation, grounds case, hauling, and hunting, and he expects to trailer it for additional hunting purposes.
