There will be a new representative of Grimes County on the Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG) Board of Directors. At Wednesday’s meeting of Commissioner’s Curt, the resignation of Mayor Gail Sowell was on the agenda.
County Judge Joe Fauth said he talked with Sowell and they found her replacement through the BVCOG.
Karen Hale, the Mayor of Plantersville, will take the spot over for Sowell, who will resign from the position officially on May 9th.
