A coach in the county has been placed on administrative leave.
Barry Bennett, the Anderson-Shiro Owls varsity head coach was placed on it Monday night, as first reported by the Examiner.
No details were immediately released, but the matter with Bennett does not involve any students.
Bennett has also worked in Bryan, Magnolia, Cy-Fair, Riesel and Mart.
Anderson-Shiro has named Jeffrey Trant as the interim head coach. The Owls play Tuesday night against New Waverly.
