After announcing new security measures this summer, Anderson-Shiro CISD has their new “A-Phone” door system live and running.
“We are pleased to announce today hat the system is installed, and is operational,” said Superintendent Scot Beane, speaking in a demonstration video to the district on Friday.
He says be ready to show documentation to be allowed into the school.
“Be prepared to show your ID, then hit he blue button. Our receptionist will ask you to show your ID to the camera. Pull it out, hold it about 6 inches from the camera, so she can identify you. hen, she will unlock he door, and allow you into the building,” said Beane.
He also reminded everyone that it must be a government issued ID card.
