Anderson-Shiro High School students present 3rd annual donation to Pink Alliance of Brazos Valley

Students a Anderson-Shiro High School made a difference last week with a donation to he Pink Alliance of the Brazos Valley.

The students from the ASHS Student Council presented President Doris Light their 3rd annual check for $1,250, bringing their total collective donations to $3,500.

Pink Alliance serves women locally to promote breast cancer awareness, provide mammograms, and offer supportive care and financial aid to those affected by breast cancer.

ASCISD says they continue to raise awareness through annual Pink Out events and wish to extend financial help to women through Pink Alliance.

The district also thanks everyone for supporting them by buying shirts, and various other ways.
