A woman from Grimes County was killed in a motorcycle accident this weekend.
Authorities say it happened Saturday night around 6:30 pm, 11 miles south of Iola on FM 244.
DPS says the driver of the motorcycle was heading northbound when she lost control of the 2018 Harley Davidson, left the road and overturned.
The driver was identified as 64 year old Rebecca Lewis of Anderson. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
