Do You Have Your Applicator License

February 17, 2015 by Willy1550

With spring just weeks away, the Grimes County Agrilife Extension Service has scheduled a one-day class later this month for those who find themselves in need of a private applicator license.

The Extension’s Kim Hall tells Navasota News, even though you may already have your license, to maintain it, you still need to take a class and fill in the paper work.

Hall says she also helps conduct the Continuing Education courses, and if you don’t have an applicator license, you may still attend the class but, she warns, you won’t get any credit for it.

If you need to take a CEU class, she continues, the next one is this Saturday the 21st being held free of charge at, and courtesy of, Coufal Prater. But you’ll need to call 936-825-6575 to sign up.

The basic applicator class is Friday the 27th and costs $60. It comes with booklets, lunch, and all the forms you need to submit for your license. For more, call the extension 936-873-3907.
