The man caught on camera stealing a Texaco Sign from a building in Navasota now has a warrant out for his arrest.

The theft originally happened Memorial Day weekend, when a man was seen on surveillance footage taking the antique Texaco sign in the 200 block of 7th street, just off Highway 105.

Navasota Police identified the man as 56 year old Steven Irvin of Willis. NPD issued a warrant for Irvin’s arrest on Monday, where he faces charges of Theft Between $2,500 and $30,000, which is a State Jail Felony.

Anyone with information on Irvin’s whereabouts is asked to contact NPD at 936-825-6410, or Grimes County Crime Stoppers at 936-870-2000.
