Most assisted living housing is all the same. Long, dark hallways with a feel that just is not like home.
But, not in Grimes County.
Seasons Assisted Living in Navasota has just finished renovations that will make you feel as if you are right where the heart wants to be – home.
Shawn Medlin, CEO and co-founder of Season Assisted Living, says the home was started eight years ago. However, their vision when stepping in recently was to make it one of the best homes in the area; doing so with some brand new renovations.
The home opened up on the evening of August 2nd with a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting. But, Medlin says, that is not what is important. He and the team want to make their mark on Grimes County and do what they love – help people.
He has a desire to make the home as great as it can be. When asked what word he would use to describe what they are all about, he said “excellence,” because their goal is to bring their “A” game everyday.
Overall, they are dedicated to care of the highest quality, which means top notch attention for residents that you do not find in most homes. Their model, according to Medlin, is “fewer residents, more caregivers.”
“We are all about the care,” Medlin said.
