Skeletal remains have been found in Grimes County.
That was reported by the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, who says the remains of a body were found in a wooded area off FM 1774 and Greenway Drive, across from where the Texas Renaissance Festival is held in Todd Mission.
A cause of death or date of death has not been determined. Officials from Harris County are investigating its relation to a missing persons case there.
Investigators await more information from the medical examiner, so no further information has been released.
