It’s that time of the decade again where Bedias residents both former and current congregate, socialize and most of all have fun at the once-every-5-year Bedias Homecoming and Alligator Festival.
Bedias Mayor Mackie Bobo tells Navasota News, this quinquennial festival will also have some new attractions from wine tasting, to an antique car show. And if you haven’t had your fill at the Grimes County Fair, it will also host a youth rodeo.
Bobo says, there will be crafts and booths for your perusing pleasure, kid centers to keep them busy, silent auctions and a school reunion throughout the day.
The car show will kick off the festival at 8 and the day will finishing with a chance to scatter that sawdust while the tunes of The Westernaires fill the air and Mallet Brothers BBQ fills your stomach from 6-10 that evening.
It’s all at the Bedias Homecoming and alligator festival, all day Saturday (06/13) in and around the Bedias Civic Center. For more information call 936-355-0642 or find it on www.facebook.com/bediasalligators
