Bedias man arrested for second DWI after posting BAC greater than 0.15

January 24, 2022 by Andre Perrard

A Bedias man is in jail for the 7th time since 2017 for his second DWI.

An arrest report from the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office says a patrol unit stopped a car for speeding and driving unsafely on Friday around midnight. The driver, 25 year old Thomas James Parker of Bedias, began speaking with his head held down.

He told the officer he was coming from the Angry Elephant bar, and had consumed approximately five Budweiser beers, and three shots while there. He also openly admitted to drinking more than he should have.

Parker failed field sobriety tests, and was arrested. A breathalyzer test pinned his blood alcohol content at .161.

Parker faces a charge of Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC greater than 0.15. He was released after posting a $4,000 bond.
