A man found near Bedias with $75,000 in stolen property last week has been arrested again on similar charges after stealing a motor home.
Rhonny Steven Steele of Bedias was arrested Thursday at the Madison County Fairgrounds, according to the Sheriff’s Office. He was seen around livestock pens in the early morning hours, and was eventually found in possession of a stolen 40 foot Prowler RV. Also found on Steele was a bit of methamphetamine.
Steele was arrested along with Morgan Fisher last week near County Road 147 in Grimes County, in possession of thousands of dollars in stolen equipment. They both face Theft Charges, among a few others, in Grimes County.
Steel faces charges in Madison County of Theft of Property between $30,000 and $150,000, and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1.
Additional charges may be pending in both Grimes and Madison Counties against Steele.
