A man from Bedias was one of two men arrested by College Station police for evading arrest this week.
According to CSPD, they recovered six bicycles suspected to be stolen, and a seventh which was stolen, at an apartment north of Oaks Park on Monday night.
The recovery came after citizen reports of seeing two men take, what the arrest report described, as large quantities of bicycles to their apartment. When the two men exited the apartment, officers asked them to stop, which led to both men running back inside.
Eventually, both were arrested and identified as 30 year old Greggory Babin of Bedias and 26 year old Tyler Leon Davis of Bryan. Both face charges of evading arrest.
Davis, who is in jail for the 12th time in five years, is also accused of violating parole in an unrelated case. Babin, who was also charged with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, is out of jail after posting 14 thousand dollars bond.
