Graduating Grimes County Seniors take note, in addition to their low tuition and fees in general, Blinn College wants you to be aware of its robust scholarship program.
Blinn’s Director of Communications Richard Bray says there’s more than $320,000 in endowed scholarships in a wide range available this year.
Besides scholarships for students attending a specific campus, Bray explains there are even scholarships especially geared for Grimes County students as well.
All-in-all this year, Bray says there are more than 200 endowed scholarships available that will be awarded based not only on a student’s high academic achievement, but on participation in student activities and their community as well.
And although applications will be accepted through the first of April, Bray tells Navasota News that they will begin to be considered in March.
This year’s Blinn Scholarships are accessible from front page of the college website, blinn.edu. If you haven’t applied to Blinn yet, however, you need to do that beforehand at applytexas.org.
