With high school seniors already looking at places of higher education, Blinn College is breaking out a new program called destination success this fall, aimed at making the transition from student to undergrad much easier by grouping classes freshman classes together into learning communities.
Blinn’s Richard Bray tells Navasota News, these communities will help your kids in reaching their full potential, and have a greater chance of success by having professors work together and meld each other’s lessons together.
Bray says, even though the program hasn’t even started, the college has already started getting calls about signing up. But, he continues, for it’s inaugural year it is being limited to first year students who have no upper level academic backgrounds.
Bray says the program while limited to who uses it, will be at all four of Blinn’s campuses. For more call 979-830-4210.
